Sanju Samson and Mukesh Kumar help India achieve easy win to seal series 4-1

Team India ended their tour of Zimbabwe win an easy win by 42 runs to take home the series 4-1. It was a walk in the park for the T20 World Champions as they posted 167 on the board and bowled out Zimbabwe for a mere 125 runs. Mukesh Kumar was the hero with the ball as he picked 4/22 from his 3.3 overs. 

Earlier in the day, India were put into bat after Sikandar Raza won the toss. Sanju Samson was the top scorer for India with 58 runs. Shivam Dube (26) and Riyan Parag (22) forged crucial stands with Samson to help India reach 167. 

Apart from Blessing Muzarabani none of the Zimbabwe bowlers could manage to stop Sanju Samson. The Indian wicket-keeper picked up momentum as the innings progressed and played a few delightful shots to help India to a good total. 

Mukesh Kumar demolishes Zimbabwean batting 

Wesley Madhevere was the first man out as he saw his off-pole uprooted for a duck. Mukesh Kumar saw the Zimbabwean opener inside edge back onto the stumps to give India their 1st wicket. Brian Bennett was out next for 10 when he offered a simple catch to Shivam Dube stationed at third to give Kumar his 2nd wicket. 

Marumani and Dion Myers then added 44 runs for the 3rd wicket before Marumani was out to Washington Sundar for 27. From there it was a steady procession of wickets for the home team as the Indian bowlers kept taking wickets at regular intervals. 

Dion Myers yet again batted well to score 34 runs from 32 balls with 4 fours and a six. Faraz Akram then swung his bat around to hit 27 runs from 13 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes before he was taken by Sanju Samson to give Mukesh Kumar his 3rd wicket. The final wicket came in the form of Richard Ngarava he was out bowled for a golden duck. 

Shivam Dube was given the player of the match for his efforts with the bat and ball. Speaking at the end of the game, Dube said “ It's always a special thing to contribute in both departments. Took some wickets, very happy. In T20s, you can struggle but one shot and you can get back. The ground is big, we enjoy playing here, the atmosphere and the people are amazing"
