SA vs ENG: Top 3 bowlers to watch out for in South Africa vs England Champions Trophy Match 11

The final match of Group B in Champions Trophy 2025 will witness South Africa take on England in Karachi. The match is inconsequential for England as they are already knocked out of the tournament. Jos Buttler and his side had lost to Afghanistan by eight runs that saw them suffer their loss of the tournament. 

South Africa, on the other hand, had begun the campaign with a massive win over Afghanistan by 107 runs. Ryan Rickelton’s ton had ensured that the Proteas put up a huge total on the board. The bowling headed by Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen made sure that Afghanistan were bowled out despite some late resistance from Rahmat Shah. 

For England, the match is nothing but academic interest. Their bowling let them down in the first match against Australia. In the second match, apart from Joe Root, none of the batters put up a stiff fight with the bat. England’s bowling suffered a huge setback after Mark Wood got injured in the previous match.

3- Marco Jansen 

The South African pace bowling all-rounder bowled with great pace and hostility in the previous match against Afghanistan. Jansen has been one of the key pacers for his side in the last few years. Jansen has the ability to bowl with good speeds and also hurry the batters of the pitch. With his height, Jansen can also bowl a very lethal short ball, which can take any batter by surprise. 

2: Adil Rashid 

England’s veteran spinner Adil Rashid has been at the top of his game with the ball. The 37-year-old has picked nine wickets in the last five games for England in the ODI format. Rashid will want to put the South African batters under pressure on pitches that are useful for his bowling. The likes of Temba Bavuma, Aiden Markram, and others will be gearing up for the challenge posed by Adil Rashid on Saturday. 

1- Kagiso Rabada 

The bowler to watch out for in the South African camp will be none other than spearhead Kagiso Rabada. The 29-year-old bowled with great fire in the match against Afghanistan and picked three wickets. Rabada has bowled well against England in international cricket and will want to continue with the same vein of form when the two sides meet in Karachi.
