The Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction is set to take place on November 24. Ahead of the auction, the IPL committee has released the marquee players list where KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Shreyas Iyer are included along with nine other wonderful players. The auction will start with these players going under the hammer. The list is divided into two sets. The first set has players like Jos Buttler, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh and Mitchell Starc.
The other set has some dynamic players including KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Liam Livingstone, David Miller, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj. The base price for all the players will be INR 2 crores. The franchises will have a tough time picking up the players as the banter between them will be quite intense. Shocking names left out in registered players list for mega auction 2024
As the IPL committee have released the registered players list for the upcoming mega auction 2024, there are some shockingly players who aren't a part of the list. Starting with England's pace bowler Jofra Archer to Australia's Cameron Green, these players haven't registered for the upcoming season of the IPL. However, James Anderson is among the list of players who have registered themselves and will be looking forward to getting a spot in the IPL 2025.
It seems like the decision from foreign players of staying away from IPL came after BCCI announced the two years ban on overseas players if they fail to join the teams for the entire season. It will be interesting to see how the auction goes as there are some talented young lads waiting to experience the thrill of the tournament next year.
