Amidst the speculation of Gautam Gambhir becoming the head coach of the Indian Cricket Team, there are reports that he was seen at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, shooting his farewell video. Gambhir mentored Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024 season, where he helped the team win the trophy after 10 years.
His contributions were immensely valuable to the team, which helped them clinch victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals. Now that the rumours are flying all over the internet regarding India's head coach position, reports suggest that Gambhir went for his farewell video shoot in Kolkata.

There is no official information on the above video, and hence, fans will have to wait and see whether the reports are accurate or not. If Gambhir is leaving KKR, then it's a huge loss for the franchise since he brought in many positive changes to the team, which helped the team make a solid comeback.
India's head coach to be declared soon
India's head coach position was vacant after Rahul Dravid's tenure was over in June. So, the BCCI secretary Jay Shah informed everyone that the new coach will be revealed soon. Certain reports talked about Gautam Gambhir being the only one to have been approached for the post, and he might be selected as well.
However, he has kept two conditions in front of BCCI: to have full control over the team and to make two separate teams for white-ball and red-ball cricket. Jay Shah hasn't confirmed any news yet, and after the Zimbabwe series, the Board will declare the head coach.
