The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Gautam Gambhir as the Head Coach of the cricket team. He'll start his tenure in the upcoming series. Amidst all these, there are still no signs of other members of the coaching staff. The reports suggest Vinay Kumar was approached for the bowling coach's position on taking Gambhir's advice.

However, the management isn't interested in Kumar; instead, they have gone with Zaheer Khan and Laksmipathy Balaji. Now that Gautam Gambhir has been given the head coach position, there will be many changes in the Indian team. He had demanded for two separate tea,s for white-ball and red-ball cricket.

As per ANI's report, BCCI isn't considering Gambhir's advice on the bowling coach's selection. There is no official confirmation regarding this news yet, but before the next series, BCCI will announce the entire coaching staff's list to ensure a smooth transition.

Abhishek Nayar might become batting coach

Kolkata Knight Riders' successful IPL 2024 campaign credits were given to Gautam Gambhir, but everyone forgot one player, 'Abhishek Nayar.' He was the batting coach of KKR and has invested a lot of energy and effort in the players and the team.

Now, after Gautam Gambhir, Abhishek Sharma might be approached for the batting coach's position as suggested by Gambhir. Abhishek might be a good choice for the position since he is calm in nature and his fresh approach will be helpful for the team.
