Gujarat Titans defeated RCB by a big margin of 8 wickets to put their winning run to a halt in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). The 14th game of the tournament was played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 2. GT skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and asked RCB to bat first.

Batting first, Rajat Patidar’s men scored 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Liam Livingstone scored 54 runs off just 40 balls, with one four and five sixes, alongside 33 and 32 runs scored by Jitesh Sharma and Tim David, respectively. Mohammed Siraj and Sai Kishore scalped 3 and 2 wickets, respectively, alongside a wicket each picked by Arshad Khan, Prasidh Krishna and Ishant Sharma.
While chasing the target, Gujarat Titans scored 170 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and comfortably crossed the line in 17.5 overs to win the game by 8 wickets. Jos Buttler smashed an unbeaten knock of 73 runs off just 39 balls, with five fours and six sixes. Sai Sudharsan and Sherfane Rutherford also contributed with 49 and 30 runs to help GT beat RCB.
