The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been full of entertainment and drama so far. However, the rain has reached some places to play the spoilsport in the ongoing event. That being said, the India vs Ireland match scheduled at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, might be interrupted due to rain. While the entire game will not get washed out, some parts of the play can get delayed due to rain.

As per Accuweather, the sky will be cloudy throughout the game, along with a 23% chance of rain during the match. The hourly report shows the chances of rain after 1 PM (local time) increase and might sometimes interrupt the game.

The weather will also impact the pitch and the outfield, which is already in talks. Pitches in New York are slow and in favor of the seamers, and with the rain, swing might also be expected during the game. This is not so good news for the batters since the weather and the pitch's nature might lead to a low-scoring game, which is against the audience's interest.
