Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has opened up on India's stance on travelling to Pakistan. As per Hafeez, Pakistan is ready to host the Champions Trophy 2025, with or without India. The PCB should give a befitting reply to BCCI for not allowing the Indian team to travel to the neighbouring state to play an ICC event.

It seems extremely odd for a renowned team like India to put up such a thing during an ICC event, but this time, the security of the players is at risk, and hence, the Board doesn't want to take any risk.

"It was a daydream that India will come to Pakistan to play #ChampionsTrophy2025. Pakistan is safe & ready to host the event. Pakistan hosts all cricket nations at home but somehow not *secure* for India. Waiting for strong & surprised response from government & PCB," tweeted Mohammad Hafeez.

The political relationships between these countries aren't fine, and leaving the Indian team in a place where security isn't guaranteed is a huge risk. The Indian former cricketers support BCCI's decision, which has brought a lot of criticism from neighbouring countries.

It is a joke that this is happening: Javed Miadad

Pakistan's former player, Javed Miandad, has spoken about the ongoing conflict of interest between India and Pakistan over the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. He has called out the ICC for not intervening in this conflict and speaking to India. He also said there would be no harm to Pakistan even though India pulled out of the tournament.

PTI quoted Miandad "It is a joke that this is happening. Even if we don't play India at all, Pakistan cricket will not only survive but prosper as well as we have shown in the past. I would like to see how the ICC events earn money when there are no Pakistan and India matches,"
