India's former captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has kept his fans guessing about the upcoming IPL 2025 season. There is still no surety of Dhoni's availability for the tournament, and before 31st October, all teams must provide their retention list to the IPL Governing committee. While speaking at a promotional event for Rigi, Dhoni didn't directly reveal his plans but only said he would play as long as he enjoyed the game without any pressure.
He mentioned that when the game becomes a profession, the joy gets converted into responsibility. Hence, he would like to keep the fun part intact. Dhoni said, "I just want to enjoy whatever last few years of cricket I am able to play. In our childhood, we used to go out to play at 4pm and enjoy the game. But when you play professional sport, it becomes difficult to enjoy cricket, just like a game. It's not easy. The emotions are there, commitments are there. I want to enjoy the game for the next few years."
CSK fans and the owners are keen on Dhoni's presence in the team for the upcoming season since he has built the team from scratch, and they want to watch him play for some more years. Ruturaj Gaikwad would also need a helping hand since he's new to the business. So, Dhoni's involvement would be in the team's favor.
I follow a good diet: MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni opened up about his diet and how he manages his eating habits. He is one of the fittest players in the world who has maintained himself through a lot of workout and gym sessions. Moreover, having a proper diet is something which he follows to keep himself fit.
"I've kept it very simple. I'll train for 15, 20, 25 days and then take off for 15-20 days, so it really helps me be in the groove. I can enjoy the food that I want to eat. Once I start training, I follow a good diet, I won't say an excellent diet. That's what keeps me busy," added MS Dhoni.
