WATCH: Marcus Stoinis' six injures female security official during Gujarat Titans match

Marcus Stoinis hit the ball forcefully, and it swiftly approached the female security guard. Since, the security guard wasn't looking the match, the shot took her by surprise.

With 230 runs scored in the first innings, the visitors are causing havoc against the hosts in the current IPL 2025 encounter between the Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, headed by Shreyas Iyer. After hitting a security official on the leg with a six, Marcus Stoinis also became viral on the internet. The game went on after the official was unharmed despite the nervous players and supporters.

Marcus Stoinis struck the ball hard and the ball came quickly towards the female security official. The shot caught the security guard off guard since she wasn't looking into the match. Marcus Stoinis scored 20 (15), which included fours and two sixes. Punjab Kings also scored 243 runs, proving why they are one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

Punjab Kings new captain, Shreyas Iyer, made an impression right away. He dominated the bowlers and hammered boundaries all around the stadium. At the end of the innings, Iyer was just three runs away from his first century as captain of PBKS. But instead of focusing on his own achievements, he advised his partner, Shashank Singh, to continue playing his natural game. 

Shreyas Iyer missed his century

Shashank Singh had a fantastic cameo as well, scoring 44* runs. Priyansh Arya, the opener for the Punjab Kings, made a batsman's contribution as well, reaching 47 runs before succumbing to Rashid Khan's spin. It was evident from Shreyas Iyer's actions that he put the team's success ahead of his century. Shreyas Iyer was short of three runs for scoring a century in his debut game for Punjab Kings. 

In his debut game as captain, he made sure to lead Punjab Kings to a commanding lead and provide a difficult objective for Gujarat Titans to pursue. Priyansh Arya, Shreyas Iyer, and Marcus Stoinis were the standout batsmen for Punjab, who lost a wicket early on despite starting first.
