Who won yesterday IPL match: LSG vs MI Match 16 Updated Points Table, Most Runs and Most Wickets

LSG defeated the Mumbai Indians by 12 runs in the 16th game of the ongoing IPL 2025. The game was played at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Friday, April 4. The visiting skipper, Hardik Pandya, won the toss and asked LSG to bat first. Batting first, the hosts posted a big total of 203 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

LSG openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Makram played the crucial half-century knocks, scoring 60 and 53 runs, respectively. Later in the innings, Ayush Badoni and David Miller also contributed with the crucial knocks of 30 and 27 runs off just 19 and 14 balls, respectively. MI skipper Hardik Pandya claimed a brilliant five-wicket haul, scalping 5 wickets at 36 runs in 4 overs, alongside a wicket each bagged by Trent Boult, Ashwani Kumar, and Vignesh Puthur.

While chasing the target, the Mumbai Indians were restricted by LSG bowlers to the score of 191 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the second innings. Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir played the important knocks of 67 and 46 runs but their efforts went in vain as MI lost the game by 12 runs.  Shardul Thakur, Akash Deep, Avesh Khan, and Digvesh Rathi scalped a wicket each for LSG in the second innings.
