Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan was an exceptional spinner who was Part of the World Cup-winning side in 1996. Moreover, Muralitharan took 16 wickets, which helped defeat England at the Oval in 1998. At that time, Sri Lanka were deemed worthy of only one Test. He was a brilliant bowler with an average of less than 30 with the ball in every country except India and Australia.
He finished a remarkable Test career with over 100 wickets against India, England, and South Africa. He was an integral part of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He played for almost four seasons and helped them lift the 2010 IPL trophy with his amazing bowling.
