He has been incredible in the tournament and scored 60 runs in the previous game. Surprisingly, he will be captaining Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant in the upcoming game, which will commence on January 30. Kohli has joined the team and was seen having a good practice session with the youngsters.
While speaking to the ANI, Badoni revealed that the players are super excited to play alongside Kohli and received many inspiring stories from the 36-year-old player. Kohli will feature in the Ranji Trophy after 12 years. He was seen interacting with the players and playing football during the practice sessions.
"Jahan woh lagna chahenge wahi lag jayene [He can stand wherever he wants to]. Everyone was excited and motivated by his arrival. His presence makes everyone feel lively," said Ayush Badoni as quoted by ANI.

The secretary of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), Ashok Sharma, spoke about Virat Kohli and the way he has been interacting with the players in the training session. Kohli will be playing for Delhi in the upcoming game after 12 years.
"Obviously, it is a great experience for our junior players as they will get to share the dressing room with Virat. If you look at our team, only Navdeep Saini has played alongside Virat in the IPL and for India. In fact, none of the players in the team have played with Virat in the Ranji Trophy. They can learn a lot by watching him," said Ashok Sharma.
