The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 is set to start on November 22 in Australia. The Kangaroo Nation haven't won a single series since 2014 and are desperate enough to get their hands on the trophy. Australia are a good side but ever since Virat Kohli took over the captaincy, India's dynamics changed in the past. Talking about the series, Australian batter, Marnus Labuschagne, explained that India's fast bowling is pretty good and the Australian conditions always favour the fast bowlers which makes them a tough opponent.

"India's fast bowling is very good, which is really what brings them in Australian conditions and make them such a tough team to beat in Australian conditions. There is always high anticipation. To these two teams, it doesn't matter where we're playing, if it's in England, Australia, or India, it's always a tough contest," said Marnus Labuschagne while talking to Star Sports.

The 4-match Test series comes under the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 cycle. Before this series, India will also play against Bangladesh and New Zealand, which are important series. Moreover, Australia will be excited to host India to take their revenge from the last few years. However, India will be prepared to face the mighty Australians with a power-packed team including players like Virat Kohli and many more.

I have got nothing but respect for him: Nathan Lyon

Australia's spin wizard Nathan Lyon has heaped praises on India's top-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for his brilliant bowling throughout his career. Ashwin is a legendary bowler who can swing his bat during necessary conditions. Taking him as an inspiration, Lyon has said that playing against him was nothing less than a privilege for him.

"I know Ashwin, we debuted around similar times and we've competed against each other in a number of series. I have got nothing but respect for him. He is an absolute master in the craft of off-spin bowling and it's been an absolute privilege to play against him and learn off him," said Nathan Lyon.
