Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul will make their IPL debuts for their new sides in the first weekday match on Monday. Delhi and Lucknow will face other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Punjab Kings will play their opening game of the season against Gujarat Titans as Shreyas Iyer gets set to lead Punjab and hopefully secure their maiden IPL title.

Mumbai Indians set to play first home match against KKR

Wankhede Stadium will have to wait for a week in order to see the Men in Blue and Gold play their first match at home. As per the schedule Mumbai will face Kolkata on 31st March in what will be an evening game. MI’s last match of the season is on 15th May when they host Delhi Capitals.

Punjab will play their matches at Mullanpur Stadium and followed by few games at the Dharamshala stadium. Delhi Capitals will also play a few games in Visakhapatnam just like they did in 2024. As per the schedule, first two playoff matches will be held in Hyderabad while the last two games including the finals will be played in Kolkata.

Earlier today, reports emerged that Mumbai Indians have signed Mujeeb-ur-Rahman as the replacement player for the coming season. The move comes after Allah Ghazanfar was ruled out of Champions Trophy and IPL 2025 due to injury. Mujeeb was part of KKR last season but an injury meant that he was ironically replaced by Ghazanfar.
