IPL 2025: Match 52, RCB vs CSK Match Prediction – Who will win toss and today IPL match?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season is soon nearing its end as teams in the top half of the table look to confirm their place in the playoffs. For teams in the bottom, the objective is simple: win the last few games of the season and avoid the dreaded wooden spoon. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who share a massive rivalry, are set to lock horns for the second time this season. 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have played flawless cricket this year. Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, and Devdutt Padikkal have provided the muscle in the early part of the game. Tim David has been showing his value with the bat in the latter half of the game. With his future uncertain, MS Dhoni could possibly be playing his final game at the Chinnaswamy stadium. The former India skipper has, over the years, seen his CSK side boss the games against RCB and in what could be his final act, MS Dhoni will want a huge win over CSK’s arch-rivals. 

RCB vs CSK Toss Prediction: Who will win toss?

Both sides haven’t had a great time as far as the toss is concerned. RCB has won the toss on four occasions from their ten games, while CSK has won four tosses from 11 matches. Rajat Patidar could edge out MS Dhoni in the toss and win his fifth coin toss of the season and his possible first successful coin toss of the season at home.

Home team Royal Challengers Bengaluru will start as the favourites for the game against CSK on Saturday. If RCB are put into bat first the game could be slightly more evenly poised considering that chasing teams have done at this venue. If RCB bats second their chances of winning the game goes up considerably higher due to the past results at this venue this campaign.

Player of the match (POTM) prediction  

Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood is the top wicket-taker this season with 18 scalps from the ten games so far. Hazlewood has also played for CSK and was part of the side that won the title in 2021. In its current form, Hazlewood is a huge threat for the under-performing CSK batting unit. The veteran Aussie pacer could be the biggest threat for Chennai with the new ball and is a prime candidate to win the player of the match award.
