Former England skipper Jos Buttler scored a match winning 97 not out against Delhi in the last game. Buttler is known to be a consistent run-getter once he gets going and the game against KKR on Monday could see the veteran star top the run-charts again. The 34-year-old has played five games at the Eden Gardens and scored 276 runs with an average of 69. Buttler has a strike rate of 169 at this venue along with one ton and one half-century.

Varun Chakravarthy could be the ace bowler for KKR in the game against Gujarat at home on Monday. The 33-year-old has already taken ten wickets so far this season and has been one of the few bright spots for KKR. It is to be noted that Chakravarthy is yet to pick a wicket for KKR against GT despite playing three games against the former IPL winners. That could change on Monday as KKR take to the field and Varun Chakravarthy could be a huge difference maker.

Rinku Singh has been having a mixed bag first half of the season so far with the bat. The left-handed batter will be keen to prove a point and the game against GT could very well be season defining moment for the youngster. Repeat of such feat is unlikely but Rinku’s effectiveness and match-winning abilities could come to the fore on Monday once again.
