IPL 2025: GT vs MI Match Prediction – Who will win today’s Eliminator match between GT vs MI?

Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will play the IPL 2025 eliminator game in a bid to make it to the second playoffs. Both sides have come into the game with losses in their last match. GT lost at home to Chennai Super Kings after conceding a massive total, while Mumbai had lost to Punjab due to Josh Inglis and Priyansh Arya’s brilliance. 

For the Gujarat Titans, the onus will yet again be on their openers. Both Sai Sudharsan and captain Shubman Gill have been in rich run-scoring form with the bat. Without Jos Buttler, the Titans will depend on their openers to shore up the batting. The bowling department isn’t a problem for the Titans with Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna in particular bowling well in the league phase. 

Mumbai Indians have already lost two of their key players going into the playoffs. Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks have gone back home for international duties. Jonny Bairstow, Charith Asalanka, and Richard Gleeson have joined for the knockout phase of the season. Bairstow, in particular, will be looking to put up a good show with the bat and ensure he gets picked in the next auction.

Player of the match (POTM) prediction  

Young Indian batter Sai Sudharsan will be the player to watch out for in the GT vs MI eliminator game. The left-handed batter has been in marvelous form this season. Sudharsan is the prime candidate to win the player of the match award on the basis of his batting form. Sudharsan had also scored a fifty in the first meeting between the two sides that took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad earlier in the season.
