Kolkata Knight Riders' batter Sunil Narine's batting performance in this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has been extraordinary. In 11 matches, he has scored 461 runs at an average of 41.91 and a strike rate of 183.67. He has played some of his best shots and smashed all the bowlers out of the park. The best part about Narine's batting was his fearless approach towards the game.

His batting is one of the reasons why KKR is in the 2nd position of the points table. They have won some magnificent matches and scored high in most of the games while batting first. In the recent game against LSG, he scored 81 runs off 39 balls, which included six boundaries and seven sixes. This wasn't the first time he had played such a beautiful innings.

Let's discuss the four other innings of Sunil Narine in this season of the IPL 2024:

1. 81(39) vs LSG, 2024

Narine's innings against the Lucknow Super Giants in the 54th match have been commendable. He played some amazing shots and attacked the bowlers really well, which helped the team get past the 200 mark. KKR scored 235 runs, which LSG failed to chase, losing the match by 98 runs. Narine's innings were more than enough for the team to get the dream start they wanted.

2. 71(32) vs PBKS

Another powerful inning by Narine was against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) when he scored 71 runs off just 32 balls. He brilliantly rotated the strike with the batters and played a beautiful innings. With Phil Salt's 75 runs off 37 balls, they formed a scintillating 138-run opening stand and took KKR's score to 261 runs. Both the batters played really well. However, PBKS batters outplayed them as they chased down the massive score.

3. 109(56) vs RR

Against RR, Narine was a different beast as he scored his first century of the IPL. He played like a pure batter and smashed the bowlers out of the park. It seemed like he was batting with an intention to score more runs that day. However, RR chased down the score of 224 runs easily thanks to Jos Buttler's century.

4. 85(39) vs DC

The brilliant performance against the Delhi Capitals by Sunil Narine was a good watch for the viewers as he scored 85 runs off 39 balls. He fell short of just 15 runs or else could have scored the 2nd century of the season. Time and again, Narine proved himself to be the best batter of the season and seems like he will probably take the Orange Cap this time.
