The Rajasthan Royals' (RR) top order blew away the Mumbai Indians (MI) bowlers to win the game with ease on Monday. None of the Mumbai bowlers could put up a fight as even the fielding was below par with three easy chances being dropped.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his 2nd Indian Premier League (IPL) ton to make a remarkable return to form with the bat. This was also his second ton against Mumbai Indians after his 124 against the same team that came in IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium.

Here are the top 5 worst performances from the match:

5. Ishan Kishan – Zero runs from three balls

146

It seems that Ishan Kishan has completely lost his form in the last few games of IPL 2024. The 25-year-old Mumbai Indians star fell for a duck after playing just three balls. Sandeep Sharma had him caught behind by Sanju Samson to deal Mumbai Indians with their 2nd blow of the night.

4. Rohit Sharma – 6 runs from five balls

147

The battle between Rohit Sharma and Trent Boult was one of the most anticipated of the day.  After scoring six runs which also included a streaky boundary, Rohit Sharma wanted to dictate terms to the bowlers. Trent Boult’s swinging ball was met with an ugly shot from Rohit Sharma only for Sanju Samson to take an easy catch.

3. Ravichandran Ashwin – 0/31 from four overs

149

The quest for his second IPL wicket of the season seems to continue for veteran spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin. The only wicket he has picked this season came against LSG in the first game of IPL 2024. On Monday the 37-year-old yet again went back empty-handed and gave away 31 runs from his four overs.

2. Hardik Pandya – 10 runs from 10 balls and 0/21 from 2 overs

150

It was yet another game to forget for the under-fire Mumbai Indians captain. Many fans were perplexed why Hardik Pandya came to bat at number 7 when his team needed his experience at the top of the order. The 30-year-old could score only ten runs and bowled two wicketless overs and gave away 21 runs.

1. Suryakumar Yadav – 10 runs from 8 balls

151

Mumbai Indians were hoping for Suryakumar Yadav to get them out of the hole after losing the first two wickets. The best T20 batter in the world though played a very casual shot to gift his wicket away for 10 runs off 8 balls to Sandeep Sharma. The wicket of Suryakumar Yadav was the turning point of the game as Rajasthan Royals ran away with the game.
