Rajasthan Royals coasted to an easy win by six wickets during the IPL 2024 match 19 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru.  This was the fourth win in four games for the Sanju Samson-led side and this takes them to number 1 in the IPL points table.

Earlier in the day Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored 183 runs for the loss of three wickets. Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 113 runs which was his 8th century in IPL cricket. It was an amazing innings as the former RCB skipper stole the march as the top run-getter.

Needing 184 to win, Yashasvi Jaiswal was out for a duck in the 1st over. Sanju Samson smashed the RCB bowlers to score his 2nd fifty of IPL 2024. A few quick which fell did not alarm Jos Buttler who scored his 6th century in IPL. This was also special as it was his 100th game in the IPL.

11. Yashasvi Jaiswal – 1/10

After his amazing run for India with the bat during the Test series against England, the youngster has found going tough in the IPL. On Saturday, Jaiswal was out for a duck when he tried to give Reece Topley the charge and was caught by Glenn Maxwell.

10. Avesh Khan – 1/10

Lauded for his death bowling in the first three games, Avesh Khan had a game to forget. The 27-year-old bowled four overs conceded 46 runs and didn’t pick any wickets. RR fans will hope this is just a blip in the massive bowling horizon of Avesh Khan.

9. Trent Boult – 2/10

After his blistering performance versus Mumbai Indians, more fireworks were expected from Trent Boult. The Kiwi bowled 3 overs and went for 30 runs and even dropped an easy catch. The entire expectations from RR fans turned into a damp squib as far as Boult is concerned.

8. Dhruv Jurel -2/10

Lack of time with the bat was evident as Dhruv Jurel scored only 2 runs and failed to see his team over the line. The 22-year-old was caught down the leg-side by Dinesh Karthik to give Reece Topley his second wicket.

7. Riyan Parag – 3/10

The amazing form of young Riyan Parag took a temporary pause on Saturday. Riyan Parag was dismissed for four by Yash Dayal much to the disappointment of the RR fans. With the ball, Parag bowled a single over and gave away ten runs.

6. Ravichandran Ashwin- 3/10

Veteran Indian star Ravichandran Ashwin put in yet another wicketless game with the ball. The 37-year-old though put the brakes on RCB’s batting with just 28 runs from his four overs to bring RR back into the game.

5. Yuzvendra Chahal – 4/10

Former RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was the leading wicket-taker with 2/34 from his 4 overs. The 33-year-old picked the key wicket of Du Plessis for 44 and later Saurav Chauhan for six.

4. Shimron Hetmyer – 5/10

Rajasthan Royals had lost a few quick wickets after the fall of Sanju Samson. The introduction of Shimron Hetmyer ended any minute hopes RCB may have had for a win. Apart from his crucial 11 runs, Hetmyer was also his usual electric self on the field.

3. Nandre Burger – 6/10

Young South African pacer Nandre Burger seems to have taken a liking to his life in the IPL. Bowling with pace and control the left-arm pacer ended with figures of 1/33 from 4 overs. His only wicket of the day was Glenn Maxwell who saw his stumps rattled for a single.

2. Sanju Samson – 8/10

29-year-old Sanju Samson was his usual graceful self with the bat during his knock of 69. The innings came off 42 balls which included 8 fours and 2 sixes as it helped RR win their 4th game in a row.

1. Jos Buttler – 10/10

It was an extraordinary innings from Jos Buttler as he scored his 6th IPL ton to give RR the win by 6 wickets. The English skipper was all smiles as he had marked his 100th IPL game with a century. This made him the second man after KL Rahul to achieve this special feat.
