Team India's performance in red-ball cricket was humiliating for two months straight. After getting knocked out of the World Test Championship (WTC) race, India will look forward to the Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled in February. After a lot of controversy, the Men in Blue will fly off to Dubai to play in the upcoming ICC event, which they had won back in 2013.

Team India must set up a different strategy during the tournament. As per reports, Rohit Sharma will be leading the team, and Jasprit Bumrah will be his deputy. However, Bumrah's health conditions are still not known to the public yet. Before January 12, all the teams will have to submit their squads as requested by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

An interesting name that's coming up in the reports is Yashasvi Jaiswal, the young and talented batter who has shown his resilience in Test cricket. Jaiswal might get his maiden ODI call from the selectors for the upcoming ICC tournament. Also, Mohammed Shami's participation is down because of his recovery.

India's probable squad for CT : Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami, and Yashavi Jaiswal

India to release Champions Trophy 2025 squad on January 11

The Indian cricket team has had a daunting Test series against Australia, losing the BGT series by 3-1. After almost a decade, India lost a series against Australia. Now, the team and the management will put their utmost focus on the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, which is scheduled for February. The players have a month's time to play the domestic games and keep themselves fit for the tournament.

While the ICC has released the deadline for the teams to release their squads, Team India will release it a day early. Reports suggest that the BCCI will release the game on January 11 rather than 12. The fans should be ready to experience some drama after the squads are released.
