India and England are set to play the semifinal 2 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 on July 27 at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. Both teams will be looking forward to playing their best cricket, which will pave the way for their entry into the finals. Hence, they'll make the best tactics possible against each other as they have a history.

England have won most of their matches in the league stages and the Super 8 stage but their win against Oman was the reason behind their qualification. On the other hand, India have won all of their matches and must continue their winning momentum to qualify for the finals.

The Three Lions are pretty confident in their skills and talent, which brought them to this stage. This game is not easy for any team since they must play their best to win the match. Both teams have some talented players who can win matches for the teams from any given point.

Pitch Report:

The match between India and England will be held in Providence Stadium, Guyana. This pitch will be favourable for the bowlers, especially the spinners, rather than the pacers. Moreover, the batters will struggle a lot due to the pitch's nature, plus the rain will play a huge role in the outfield's condition as well. Hence, any captain who wins the toss should look to the field first since the DLS method might come into play.

Weather Report:

The weather conditions of Guyana are not favourable for a match to be played. As per recent reports, there is around an 80% chance of rain during the game, which might cause frequent interruptions. However, the only good news for the game is that there has been no rain in the last 24 hours, and the sky is clear so far.

Moreover, there is no reserve day for this match, but only 250 minutes are allotted to the game if it gets delayed due to rain. If the game still doesn't start, India will qualify for the finals since they were at the top of the Super 8 standings.

As of 6:20 pm (IST), there were passing showers at the venue, but the forecast suggested clear skies during the game, revealed Jatin Sapru, a cricket broadcaster, in a report for Star Sports.
