Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Virat Kohli hurt his fingers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) game on Wednesday. The incident happened in the fifth ball of the 12th over with Krunal Pandya bowling to Sai Sudharsan. Kohli, who was fielding near the deep mid-wicket region, came running to stop the four. The pace behind the shot was such that Kohli got hit on his fingers and the ball sped for four runs. The 36-year-old could be wincing in pain as he made his way off the field and was tended to by the RCB medical staff near the boundary.

Sai Sudharsan had hit the previous ball for a four as he raced to 43 runs from just 31 balls. The left-hander was finally dismissed when he tried to scoop Hazlewood for a four to get to his third successive fifty of the campaign. Jitesh Sharma took the catch as Sudharsan was out after scoring 49 runs from 36 balls with seven boundaries and a six.

Shubman Gill was out after scoring 14 when he lobbed an easy catch to Liam Livingstone off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Jos Buttler and Sai Sudharsan then added 75 runs for the second wicket in just 47 balls to take the Titans closer to their second win of the tournament.

R Sai Kishore was one of the best bowlers for the Titans as he picked two wickets for 22 runs. The left-arm spinner got the wickets of Jitesh Sharma and Krunal Pandya to keep the RCB batters in check. Sai Kishore got the wicket of Pandya with a carrom ball that was unleashed for the first time by the left-arm spinner.

Speaking to the broadcasters during the mid-innings break, the 28-year-old said, “I felt when you bowl into the wicket, it was assisting the spinners, but you never know until both teams bowl on it. What I mean by that is getting good shape on the ball and bowling like a proper red ball game. To be relevant in T20 cricket, you have to keep evolving. Over the last 3-4 year,s I have been practicing that ball but haven't bowled it anywhere”
