WATCH: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma play pickleball along with RCB players

Ahead of their match against SRH in Lucknow, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma teamed up during a pickleball match, extending their husband-and-wife bond. During the occasion, the players, support personnel, and their families all tried their hand at pickleball. After clinching a point, Kohli was seen congratulating his wife Anushka in a post that RCB posted on Instagram. 

The famous pair was joined by Indian squash player Dipika Pallikal and Dinesh Karthik, who is her husband and RCB batting coach. As RCB prepares to play Hyderabad in Lucknow, all of the players and their families were invited to the occasion. Later, Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Mayank Agarwal, alongside other RCB teammates, joined Kohli on the court for some lighthearted play after rain ruined their training sessions.  The players took full advantage of their time indoors when the match against SRH was moved from Bengaluru to Lucknow because of the ongoing rainy weather.

Royal Challengers aim to lift their first IPL title

IPL resumed on May 17, and RCB was scheduled to start their campaign against KKR. However, the game was called off without a ball being bowled due to heavy rain on the matchday.  RCB qualified for the playoffs thanks to GT's victory over DC on May 18, regardless of the outcome. RCB is still hungry even after earning a spot in the playoffs.  The squad understands that momentum and unity among the players are crucial because they have made it to the finals three times without ever taking home the title.

The success this season has been attributed to the team's combined strength, with bowlers, middle-order batsmen, and role players all contributing, even if Kohli is still a legend. The proper time has come for RCB to keep their spirits up and their brains sharp.
