Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill showed his angry side to the world during the IPL 2025 game versus Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday night. Earlier in the day, Gill was run-out in controversial fashion for 76 runs. Once he made his way to the dugout, Gill was seen airing his frustrations with the match officials. For the second time on Frida, Titans’ skipper lost his cool on the umpire.

The incident happened fourth ball of the 14th over with Prasidh Krishna bowling to Abhishek Sharma who was batting on 69. The bowler hit Sharma flush on his foot and GT decided to use the DRS and when the replays came on the big screen it was seen that the impact was umpire’s call. The wickets though were seen to be hitting and since the on-field umpire had ruled it not out, the batter survived.

Drama ensued when Abhishek Sharma was seen being tended to by the medical team after getting hit on the toe. Gill made his way to the umpires and was seen arguing about the close LBW call. Abhishek Sharma who is a teammate for Gill in domestic cricket was seen trying to calm down his friend. The 25-year-old though could be seen pleading his case to the umpires. The two sides then soon went in for the second time-out as Gill went off the park for a break.

In reply, Travis Head was out after scoring 20 runs thanks to a terrific catch by Rashid Khan to give Prasidh Krishna his first wicket of the day. Ishan Kishan struggled before he perished for 13 caught by Krishna off Gerald Coetzee.

Abhishek Sharma who has been one of the few bright spots for SRH this season got to his fifty with a six. Sharma waged a lone battle before he attempted a big shot off Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Siraj took a neat catch. Abhishek was out after scoring 74 off 41 balls with the help of four boundaries and six huge sixes.
