India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been an asset for the Indian team lately. He is an instrumental batter who blends according to situations and takes the team past the victory line. Recently, his retention with the Delhi Capitals (DC) has been mysterious since their performance hasn't improved under his captaincy. While nothing is confirmed yet, Pant's cryptic post on Saturday midnight confused the fans.
He has been quite active on social media, but his question seemed a bit off this time. Late-night intrusive thoughts might have taken over Pant as he went on to ask his followers on Twitter about his chances in the mega auction and what the price would be if he were sold to some team.
Pant tweeted, "If go to the auction. Will I be sold or not, and for how much ??"

The fans' reaction to his question was sweet and proved that he's a fan favourite and everyone in the country loves him. Not only for India, Pant has also been an important member of the DC team. In the IPL, he has played 111 matches and scored 3284 runs with a century and 18 half-centuries in his career.

Rishabh Pant's scintillating comeback in Test match shocked the world
In the 1st Test match against Bangladesh, Rishabh Pant slammed a blistering ton, which is etched in the memories of the Indians. The inning was important for him, not to prove how good a player he is, but to announce his arrival in cricket after being away from it for more than 20 months. His accident in late 2023 was dangerous, and nobody expected his recovery or the fact that he would come back and slam a century for India.
He batted fearlessly, playing the most unorthodox shots possible in cricket. Some of the shots don't even have any name yet. His batting shows the confidence he carries and his passion for the sport. Pant is one of those players for whom the quote sits well, 'Form is temporary, class is permanent.'
