Sri Lanka is touring England for a 3-match Test series which started on August 21. During the tour, former Sri Lanka batter Kumar Sangakkara praised English opener Harry Brook for his brilliant performance in the first innings. Moreover, the former batter has also opened up about how much he loves watching Brook bat and is a fan of his techniques.

"He is such a good player. I love watching him bat, I like the simplicity of his technique and the intent he bats with. It is always about scoring runs and there is nothing complicated in the way he does it. He has got good awareness about how he wants to play cricket and I think the best thing that can happen for Harry Brook is to be told, 'Just keep batting the way you are, do not get confused with anything else'" Sangakkara told Sky Sports.

Brook scored 56 runs off 73 balls, including four boundaries. He was dismissed by Prabath Jayasuriya who bowled brilliantly throughout the first innings. The 25-year-old batter batted beautifully, and he's in brilliant form. The series will see a lot more good scores coming from him in the future.

Discussions are underway to telecast the series in England: PCB

England will be travelling to Pakistan in October, but the Pakistan Cricket Board is facing a TV blackout. They are finding it difficult to get a TV broadcaster, but the Board is trying their best and has assured the viewers that they'll come up with something soon.

"Broadcasters not coming forward does not mean that discussions with broadcasters are not ongoing. Discussions are underway to telecast the series in England. There are still seven weeks left before the first Test against England starts, we are hopeful that people in England will get to watch the series," read the statement by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
