The ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 hasn't yet been an excellent tournament for Virat Kohli. Unlike every other season, Kohli wasn't seen smashing the bowlers out of the park or getting a decent score. This has drawn much criticism about why Virat Kohli isn't scoring runs. While some are criticizing him, some are in favour of him. In this process, West Indies great Brian Lara has come forward to support Kohli as he scored 24 runs off 24 balls, which didn't sit well with many critics.

"24 off 24, you can say that’s not great but the most important thing is that he spent some time out there. India has got one step closer to winning this trophy. I believe that Virat Kohli is just gonna go from strength to strength as he comes down to the Caribbean. He’s going to Antigua next, you’re gonna see him go out there and plough and plough, he’s gonna get runs," said Brain Lara on Star Sports.

In four matches, Kohli scored 1, 4, 0, and 24 runs, which are below average scores. Now, the people who know him in and out know that he's a big match-winner and will play some awesome knocks in the upcoming matches. Hence, we can sit back and relax while Kohli will do his job perfectly.
