India are set to play the fourth Test match against Australia on December 26, which is the Boxing Day Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 has reached a good stage where the series is levelled, 1-1.
Both teams are well aware of the seriousness of the series and wouldn't make any mistake that will make their qualification path for the WTC 2025 finals difficult. Throughout the series, Jasprit Bumrah has been in solid form, claiming wickets consistently. He is an asset for India and a nightmare for the Australian batters.
Since India's next game is at MCG, looking at Bumrah's records on that particular ground will be interesting. In the last four innings he played at MCG, he has claimed 15 wickets at an average of 13.06, including one fifer. His best performance is 6/33, which is just astounding.
This is good news for the Indian team, as no other bowler has shown much efficiency in the series. While they have managed to take wickets, they have failed to help the team in crunch situations. Bumrah has been the rescuer for the team in most of the games, and the same will be expected from him in the upcoming games as well.
