The run-out mix-up between Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal has attracted much criticism with the former being blamed. On the second day of the fourth Test match, Jaiswal was batting on 82 runs. He was playing brilliantly when Cummins ran to run him out as there was a lack of communication between Kohli and Jaiswal.
No matter how debatable the matter might be, Jaiswal didn't need to take chances when only 20 minutes of gameplay were left. However, former India player Sanjay Manjrekar sided with the young lad, saying that since Jaiswal had a case prepared after getting out, it seemed to be Kohli's fault.
"Yashasvi Jaiswal, for a guy who is so young, had a few things to say to Virat Kohli. He was making a case there. That shows how much that innings was important to him. Out of habit, he would have got a hundred and that hundred would have been even more impressive than the one that Perth. Although that was a big one, the pitch in Perth had become a little Indian-like for two days," said Sanjay Manjrekar.
I always love bowling here: Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah, the world's best bowler, opens up on bowling in Australia. He has been terrific throughout the series, crossing over 20+ wickets in seven innings. He is the leading wicket-taker in the series and has wreaked havoc on the Australian batting attack. He's singlehandedly dealing with the opponent as no other bowler has come to his rescue.
"I always love bowling here I have come here for my first tour in 2018 and I made my ODI debut here in 2016 as well. So yes it brings out a lot of challenges because the wickets are flat, the Kookaburra ball does a bit when it’s new but it doesn’t do much as it gets older. The weather can sometimes test your patience and fitness so once you come out on top after it leaves you in a good space after that and you become a better cricketer" said Bumrah.
