India's pace bowler, Mohammed Siraj, has faced consistent backlash for his poor bowling in the fourth Test match against Australia. Throughout the series, he hasn't impressed much, which is concerning for the team. He's the second bowler on the team, and has not been able to get any breakthroughs which was disappointing. Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar slammed the player, saying he needs to 'reinvent' himself in order to take early wickets and keep bowling a certain line and length.

"Somewhere, I think, Siraj needs to reinvent a little bit, where he is not releasing the ball as much. Siraj, at this stage, the way he is bowling, he is not ideal for the kind of conditions we have in Australia," said Sanjay Manjrekar, while speaking to ESPN Cricinfo.

In six innings, the player has taken 13 wickets at an average of 29.92. He was supposed to help Jasprit Bumrah from the other end. Bumrah has been phenomenal in the series, taking 24 wickets in six innings. His average is 13.21, which is the best among others. India are clearly struggling against the Australian batting line-up, who have put up a good score on the board.

Steven Smith's blistering innings helps Australia post mammoth total on board

Australia's legendary batter, Steven Smith, scored yet another half-century against India in the BGT series. The batter is just amazing with his approach, and the way he maintains his patience to bat for long hours is just fantastic. Australian top and middle-order batters have done well in the Boxing Day Test match, scoring 371 runs by drinks.

Even with the new ball, the Indian bowlers failed to clinch wickets, which means that Australia will have a chance to go beyond 500 runs in the first innings since they still have four wickets left. Now, the Indian batters will have to pull off an amazing performance to make the game contesting and intriguing.
