The entire world is aware of the captaincy drama that happened within the Mumbai Indians (MI) camp during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. In a surprising turn of events, Hardik Pandya was traded to MI from Gujarat Titans (GT) and also replaced Rohit Sharma as the skipper. Pandya was brutally trolled on social media after being appointed as the captain but the star all-rounder kept his calm. While talking to the Indian Express, MI's prime bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, opened up about how the entire team stood beside Pandya while the entire world was against him. 

"But then your inner circle helps. We as a team do not encourage that. We as a team were with him. We were talking to him. His family will always be there. Certain things are beyond your control. That narrative also changed when we won the World Cup," said Jasprit Bumrah as quoted by Indian Express. 

Pandya had to go through a lot of emotional turmoil during the IPL 2024 phase while a lot was already happening in his personal life. His performance in the IPL was quite average, but his comeback in the T20 World Cup 2024 was tremendous. He once said he treats World Cups like his baby, and he proved it. 

Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic confirm divorce

After four years of a beautiful marriage, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic have confirmed their divorce. They took to Instagram to announce their divorce. The couple will share the custody of their son who is currently with his mother in Serbia. The rumours started when Natasa stopped showing up during IPL matches and stopped posting on social media.

There were rumours regarding their divorce for a long time but there wasn't any official confirmation on the same. People have constantly shown hatred towards Natasa even though the reasons behind their divorce aren't revealed. Now that everything is made official, the actress left for Serbia with their son and will be sharing his custody.
