Harsh Dubey, a talented player from Vidarbha, has joined Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the remaining season of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). Harsh Dubey replaced Smaran Ravinchandran, who suffered an injury. Dubey joined SRH for Rs 30 lakhs. He plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket, and has amassed 941 runs and claimed 127 wickets in 16 Twenty20, 18 First Class, and 16 Twenty20 matches.
After establishing the record for the most wickets in a single Ranji Trophy edition, Dubey recently scripted history. He got 69 wickets from 10 games in the 2024–25 First Class Tournament at an economy rate of 2.66. He even recorded seven five-wicket hauls and two 10-wicket hauls. As a result of his incredible performance, Vidarbha won the Ranji championship for the third time.
