Team India beat Sri Lanka by 82 runs to win their 2nd game of the Women’s T20 World Cup on Wednesday. The win also ensured that India went to the 2nd place in the table in Group A with four points from 3 matches. After the early loss to New Zealand, the Women in Blue bounced back to beat Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Those two wins are all India can take away from the tournament as they have lost the game to Australia. Harmanpreet Kaur was left fighting a lone battle as her fifty went in vain.
