England have announced their playing XI for the 2nd Test match against Pakistan, starting on October 15. After being away from cricket for quite a few months, captain Ben Stokes is set to be back in action. He was recovering from an injury due to which he missed out on the 1st Test match. He is back in the team in place of Chris Woakes, who is also a handy all-rounder.

Another change is Matt Potts, who came in for Gus Atkinson. While the reason behind this change is unknown, it seems like Atkinson got a much-needed break since he's been playing for a long time now. After a disappointing loss in the first match, Pakistan will look forward to winning the upcoming match.

England's batting was top-notch, with perfect strokeplay and choosing the correct balls to hit the huge sixes. Without Ben Stokes, England scored 823 runs in the first innings, thanks to Harry Brook's triple century and Joe Root's double century. Now that Stokes is back in the team, the strength has increased in both the batting and bowling departments. This match will be extra special and exciting for the crowd to watch.

Pakistan announce squad for 2nd and 3rd Test match against England

Pakistan have made some major changes in the squad for the upcoming 2nd and 3rd Test matches against England. The selectors have removed Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sarfaraz Ahmed from the squad, which was a huge decision. The performance of all the players wasn't up to the mark, hence, they were removed from the squad and given a break.

Pakistan's squad: Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Haseebullah (wicket-keeper), Kamran Ghulam, Mehran Mumtaz, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha and Zahid Mehmood.
