Delhi Stadium's electrical hazards claim 13-year-old cricketer's life

On the ground at West Delhi's Kotla Vihar Phase 2, the accident took place where a young 13-year-old boy died of electrocution while playing cricket.

In an unfortunate event in Delhi, a young 13-year-old boy died of electrocution while playing cricket on Saturday afternoon. This accident happened after he came in contact with an iron pole carrying wires to a nearby cow shed when he went to get the ball. The accident took place on the ground at West Delhi's Kotla Vihar Phase 2, and the players present around him informed the police and his family members. 

Later, the boy was taken to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi, where he was declared dead by the doctors. The police have filed a case under the section of death of a person by a negligible or rash act. Well, this isn't the first time something like this happened to young kids.

In Mumbai, a 10-year-old boy, Adil Chaudhary, came into contact with metal sheets. He was trying to get the ball from the roof of a police chowki where the metal sheets were present. Unaware of the damage they could cause, he came in contact with them, resulting in his death. 

Former India pacer David Johnson dies after falling from the fourth floor

India's former pacer David Johnson died at the age of 52 after falling from the fourth floor of his apartment in the Kothanur police station limits in Bengaluru on June 20th. His family members reported that it was an unfortunate incident. He was rushed to hospital, and a case was registered. However, the police suspect suicide, and further investigation is ongoing.

The police officials didn't give any official statement yet. Moreover, he played two Test matches for India and dismissed Michael Slater in a game against Australia. He also clocked a speed of 157.8 km/h during the Test match against Australia. After his demise, several Indian cricketers paid tribute to him.
