India's humiliating loss against Australia forced the experts and fans to question the issue going on around the Indian Cricket Team. Skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Gautam Gambhir are held responsible for the kind of performance the team made during the Test series against New Zealand and Australia. Speaking about it, the former Australian captain, Michael Clarke opened up about how confused he was when Rohit didn't address the media in the press conference before the start of the fifth Test match.

"Rohit spoke very well ( interview with Star Sports). But i am little confused why he didn't front the press conference like the captain normally does the day before the Test and say exactly what he said on Star. I don't know why the coach went instead. Maybe they were trying to keep it a secret until the toss of the coin," said Michael Clarke.

Australia laid their hands on the Border Gavaskar Trophy after almost ten years. With the win, they directly qualified for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 finals for the second consecutive season. Under Pat Cummins, the Australian team is ruling the cricket world with victories in almost all the tournaments.

Does that mean he's retired: Michael Clarke

Since Rohit Sharma wasn't included in the last Test match despite being the captain of the team, Michael Clarke raised a concerning question for the team. He mentioned how everything is so unclear about the Indian team and that Rohit's status in the team isn't clear yet.

"I think there are a lot more questions than answers throughout that whole last Test match in regards to India's behind closed doors, inside the change room. A lot of unknowns like I am still unsure why Rohit stood down for a Test match. Does that mean he's retired or he's not going to play Test cricket again?" added Clarke.
