Arshdeep Singh felt form is just a number for someone like Virat Kohli, who has played over 300 matches in ODIs. The Indian pacer claimed it to be a blessing to have someone like the 36-year-old in the dressing room, following his duck in the Perth ODI. Arshdeep gave his prediction for the remainder of the series and claimed Kohli could score a lot of runs in the last two ODIs.

After suffering a 7-wicket loss against Australia in the first ODI in Perth, Arshdeep showed up at the Post-Match conference, where one of the questions was about Virat's performance on his return. The Indian seamer claimed it's a privilege for the entire team to have someone like Virat in the dressing room and felt the star batter would do well in the last two ODIs.

"He has played more than 300 matches for India, so form is just a word for him. He knows how to get going. It is always like a blessing to be in the same dressing room with him, and going forward I feel there'll be a lot of runs for him in this series as well," Arshdeep Singh backed Virat to be back in the form.

He was further asked about the comparison of captaincy between Rohit and Virat against that of Shubman Gill. Arshdeep felt it wasn't right to speak given he hadn't played a lot of ODIs.

"I have played very less ODIs, so I can't tell the difference yet, but I would say both of them were proper bowlers' captains. They gave you proper freedom and even today Shubman, he backed whatever plans we had, and he said, bowl freely to your plans and just enjoy the moment," Arshdeep added in the post-match conference.
