Jeremy Gordon and Dilon Heyliger trap Ireland to push them away from the chase
While chasing the target, Ireland struggled a lot in surviving against Canada’s bowling attack led by Jeremy Gordon and Dilon Heyliger. The Irish side kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Eventually, Canada won the match by a margin of 12 runs and registered their first-ever victory in their journey to the T20 World Cup. Notably, Canada are also making their debut in the T20 World Cup with their appearance in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.
