The temperature is to stay around 20 degrees throughout the day. There is a significant chance of rain, with forecasts showcasing a 71% to 75% probability on match day. Heavy rainfall is expected overnight, with a 44% chance of rain at the start of the game, which gradually decreases throughout the game.

This rain might lead to a delayed start or an interruption during the game. For a result to stand, at least 20 overs of the game must be played, and there is no reserve day for league stage matches.
