The five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, Mumbai Indians (MI), will be clashing against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 56th match of the season. Mumbai’s iconic Wankhede Stadium will be hosting the crucial match. However, ahead of the contest, MI’s star batter Suryakumar Yadav and GT’s veteran spinner Rashid Khan were engaged in a hilarious conversation.

MI recently shared a video on its social media handle in which Rashid was heard asking Suryakumar about his trademark ‘Supla’ shot. However, the batter instantly hit back and started asking about Rashid’s own cheeky strokeplay. Suryakumar was then heard joking, ‘Accha, aap snake shot maaro toh woh chalta hai? Aap karo toh dance, hum kare toh..? Another GT player and star pacer, Mohammed Siraj, also joined the conversation and completed Suryakumar’s joke by saying, ‘Belly dance.’

Race for the playoffs getting intense

The clash between MI and GT is going to be crucial for both teams. MI are currently at the third spot in the points table with 14 points, while GT are at the fourth spot with 14 points as well, but with a lesser net run rate. However, GT have played only 10 matches while MI have played 11 matches and have only three matches to play more in the season before the playoffs.

RCB and PBKS are looking solid to qualify, while the two spots are still uncertain as MI, GT, DC, and KKR are fighting for the remaining two spots. If GT win the match against MI with a good margin, they will become the table toppers, and the same goes for the Hardik Pandya-led side. It would be interesting to see who will emerge victorious in the high-octane clash.
