On Tuesday night Washington Wizards defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 117-113 Deni Avdija got 23 points while his teammate Corey Kispert scored 27 points contributing to the win. For the Milwaukee Bucks, Antetokounmpo scored 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists as the third quarter ended.

For Washington Wizard Jordan Poole got 16 points and his career-high 13 assists while coming off the bench Jared Butler got 17 points. New signing Tristan Vukcevic from Serbia was signed by the Washington Wizards in the middle of last month and scored 14 points.

“It’s a step forward, maybe two steps forward,” Kispert said. “This is the attitude we need to have and the aggression we need to have when we play these kind of games, especially against a championship team like this. Super proud of everybody who played tonight.” (Source: AP News).

By the time of half-time, Washington Wizards were leading 58-54. When the third quarter started on 12-1 Washington Wizards ran to 15.  Milwaukee shot 11 of 48 from three-point range on the night, but they eventually hit a few near the end of the third, including Jae Crowder's buzzer-beating jumper that cut their lead to five.

We can’t get better shots - Doc Rivers

“We can’t get better shots, as far as the 3s we had,” Bucks coach Doc Rivers said. “Our best 3-point shooters were wide open. ... But we missed a lot of them.” (Source: AP News)

The Bucks lost Patrick Beverley in the third quarter after Poole slid while driving to the hoop and collided with Beverley's left leg. Both players were rattled up, but Poole had the strength to continue playing. Rivers believed Beverley hurt his ankle.

Milwaukee Bucks will next play the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night while Washington Wizards will face against Los Angeles Lakers.
