Kevin Porter Jr. has expressed a desire to play in the NBA again. After only a month with PAOK in Greece, he has expressed a desire to play in a professional league for the second time.

The Twitter account of the PAOK BC Mateco posted footage from Porter Jr.'s latest interview appearance in which he said: “If I have the opportunity to go back to the NBA, then I'll probably go back to the NBA. If it's not the NBA, I don't want to play for any other club than PAOK.”

Despite being grateful for the opportunity and family-like culture at PAOK, Porter has stated that he desires to return to the NBA, stating that if given the chance, he would rather return to the NBA than play overseas for another year.

Porter Jr., on the other hand, has been a standout in Greece, averaging 20.75 points, 8.25 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 3 steals a game in his first four games with PAOK. Despite being sidelined in his NBA career due to a domestic abuse issue; he found a new opportunity by signing with the Greek team in early April.

His powerful message demonstrates his willingness to follow his objectives and play at the greatest level, emphasizing his ambition and steadfast dedication to professional basketball. During his time with the Houston Rockets, Kevin Porter Jr. was regarded as a dependable guard with a bright future. Porter Jr.'s situation, however, has gotten worse.

Kevin Porter Jr. economic situation has declined

He has signed a deal with Greek club PAOK, which has resulted in a significant fall in his salary compared to his former lucrative four-year pact with the Rockets; he is now paid only $10,000 per month.

Porter Jr.'s economic situation has declined significantly since joining the Greek Club, especially given his prior multimillion-dollar contract with the Rockets. This sequence of events is a significant departure from his former financial situation.

Porter Jr. received a four-year contract agreement with Rocket worth $82.5 million before joining the Greek team. In comparison to his NBA salary, it appears that the amount he is currently receiving is only justified.
