Jaylen Brown reaches 10,000 points in Boston Celtics 124-107 win over Portland Trail Blazers

On Sunday night Jaylen Brown scored 26 points and achieved 10,000 NBA career points as he guided Boston Celtics to another win against Portland Trail Blazers 124-107. This win marks Boston Celtic's 13th consecutive win at home.

In just 27 minutes of the match, Kristaps Porzingis scored his third starlight double-double as he scored 12 points and 10 rebounds. While Derrick White scored 15 points, Jrue Holiday scored 12 points and Payton Pritchard got 20 points.

As per AP News, “The type of guy that he is, the hard work that he puts in and the growth that he’s shown this year to become a complete player at both ends of the floor, I know he’s happy about that,” Boston coach Joe Mazzulla said of Brown’s career achievement. “It’s cool to be able to coach guys that get to those types of milestones and be a part of that.”

Meanwhile, Portland Trail Blazers were led by Dalano Banton who scored 28 points while his teammate Deandre Ayton scored 22 points and 14 rebounds. Later Jabari Walker scored 14 points and 18 rebounds.

Jayson Tatum was again not available due to injury in right knee. He missed his sixth game in this season so far. Boston Celtic secured the league's top record and home-court advantage throughout the playoffs last week. Jaylen Brown who is playing in his eighth season scored 10,000 points on a driving left-handed scoop shot in the first minute of the second half.
