Chicago Bulls defeated Atlanta Hawks by 131-116 in play-in game

On Wednesday Chicago Bulls defeated Atlanta Hawks by 131-116 to advance in play-in tournament. Coby White took the charge to guide his team as he scored 42 points which is his career high points.

On Wednesday Chicago Bulls defeated Atlanta Hawks by 131-116 to advance in a play-in tournament. Coby White took the charge to guide his team as he scored 42 points which is his career high points. Meanwhile, he never scored more than 37 points in the postseason or regular season. During the play-in tournament against the Atlanta Hawks, he put on a solid performance. 

According to AP News, Coby White stated “It was a dope moment for that to happen.” “I’m thankful for the fans. It felt like a playoff vibe. The place was rocking tonight.”

Chicago Bulls will play their next game against the Miami Heat on Friday. The winner of these matches will lock the No.8 spot in Eastern Conference playoffs and will play against the Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, the Miami Heat lost to the Philadelphia 76ers by 105-104 earlier on Wednesday.

Coby White was a point of centre in the game

For Chicago Bulls, Nikola Vucevic scored 24 points and 12 rebounds while his teammate DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points and nine assists. Ayo Dosunmu scored 19 points despite missing the last four regular-season games due to a damaged right quadriceps but Coby White was the point of centre in the game as he scored 15 points from his 21 attempts from the field.

For the Atlanta Hawks, Dejounte Murray scored 30 points. Clint Capela and Trae Young both scored 22 points. Trae Young missed 23 games in regular season due to torn ligament in his left pinkie and made 10 assists while Clint Capela got 12 rebounds and Bogdan Bogdanovic got 21 points. With 4:59 minutes left in the third quarter, Nikola Vucevic scoring a three-pointer helped the Chicago Bulls to take the lead by 88-85.

The Hawks made an additional run towards the end of the half, getting within three in the last minute. But Caruso countered Capela's alley-oop dunk with a three-pointer as Chicago Bulls went into the locker room up 73-67.
