Caitlin Clark leads Lowa Hawkeyes into the final four

On Monday Lowa Hawkeyes booked their place into the Final Four as they defeated LSU Tigers. Lowa now advances to Cleveland to play against the winner of the Connecticut Huskies and USC Trojans.

On Monday Lowa Hawkeyes booked their place into the Final Four as they defeated LSU Tigers. The game was a rematch of last year’s national championship game between Reese and Caitlin as Lowa won the game 94-87. Lowa now advances to Cleveland to play against the winner of the Connecticut Huskies and USC Trojans.

Last time when both Resse and Clark squared off each other Reese was waving her hand in front of her face and was pointing to her ring finger as LSU Tigers were going to win the title. The match was the most watched in women’s college basketball history.

Resse got a good start for the LSU Tigers as they were leading the first quarter by 31-26. But got hurt in her ankle and was benched for the second quarter.

But this time, Clark scored 13-for-29 from the field, draining 9-of-20 shots from the arch. Clark was not taking shots as she was passing to her teammates. She gave 12 assists this time around. In the third quarter the game to a turning point as Flau’Jae Johnson came up with 23 points, six rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and one steal. By that time Lowa was 8-0 and LSU were struggling to take shots. As the game entered into the fourth quarter Lowa took the lead 69-59.

Caitlin Clark sets many record to her name

Clark and Reese finished the first half with 19 and 13 points, respectively, making them the leading scorers for their teams. Reese completed the half with eight rebounds to Clark's one, while Clark had five assists to Reese's three.

Caitlin Clark became the all-time leading scorer for Division I and is the first basketball player in women to have more than 3,00 points and 1,000 assists. She also has set a record for most points in a season she has 1183 points.

Earlier this season, she became the all-time leading scorer in Division I, and the first women's basketball player to have more than 3,000 points and 1,000 assists. She also broke the record for most points in a season, which now stands at 1,183.
