It is considered a major league for the United States of America and Canada. Every NBA team desires to have at least one NBA title, while many have won the NBA title most times.

Los Angeles Lakers are tied with the Boston Celtics for the most NBA championship titles. They have won 17 titles so far and are the greatest team in NBA history. Los Angeles Lakers won their NBA title in 1949. In 1972 they won it and they had a streak of 33 unbeaten games. Their most recent NBA title win came against the Miami Heat in 2020. This was a tribute to Kobe Bryant by LeBron James.
