During the ongoing Paris Olympics, the grandstands at the Grand Palais were graced by the presence of several high-profile celebrities. The list includes Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton, Hollywood star Nina Dobrev, and rap icon Snoop Dogg. The trio was spotted enthusiastically cheering for Team USA, adding a dash of star power to the already electrifying atmosphere of the Games.

Lewis Hamilton who is currently enjoying the summer break from his F1 commitments came here to support his close friend and American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson. The Mercedes driver has been vocal about his friendship with Chamley-Watson, a bond that has been visible in their public appearances together over the years.

Here is the video:

The two have been seen enjoying vacations together, from soaking up the sun in Australia to donning costumes as Mario characters in Japan. Chamley-Watson, who won a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016 as part of the USA's men's team foil, was back in action at the Grand Palais, competing for another Olympic medal.

Speaking to Olympic.com before the Games, Chamley-Watson emphasized the importance of his friendship with Hamilton, stating, "We love taking trips together. I think that's what helps me in my sports life is keeping my mind free in the off-season."

“Maybe I'll do an Olympic sport one day”, says Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton, in an interview with CNN, expressed his admiration for Chamley-Watson's dedication and hinted at his Olympic aspirations, although he humbly admitted that he doesn't currently possess the skills to compete at that level in sports like surfing or fencing. However, he didn't entirely rule out the possibility of participating in the Olympics one day, saying, "Maybe I'll do an Olympic sport one day."

Adding to the excitement, Snoop Dogg, who has been dubbed the unofficial mascot of Team USA at these Games, was also present at the fencing event. Snoop's involvement in the Olympics has been a highlight, especially after he carried the Olympic torch before the opening ceremony.

He has since attended various events across Paris, including gymnastics, where he witnessed Simone Biles and her teammates clinch gold, and the dressage competition, despite his well-known fear of horses.
