The start of the Miami Grand Prix has been very poor for Ferrari as Charles Leclerc pulled out a poor spin on the track to get an early red flag. Leclerc also found himself in a quirky comparison to Austin Powers following a spin during the Miami Grand Prix practice session.

The Ferrari driver lost control of his car on a tight section of the track, causing him to spin. Luckily, he avoided contact with the barriers, minimizing any damage to his car. However, due to the narrowness of the road, Leclerc's car acted as an obstruction on the track.

Here is the video:

It forced several other cars to come to a halt until he could manoeuvre his Ferrari back on course. Despite multiple attempts to reverse and move forward, Leclerc struggled to turn his car around. Eventually, his clutch overheated, preventing him from engaging in reverse gear after allowing other cars to pass through.

Max Verstappen closely avoids a collision!

The first half of the practice session saw another interesting moment when Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen faced a little glitch. Max Verstappen makes a stop at Turn 17, but encounters a minor lock-up, prompting him to briefly veer off onto the escape road. Despite this hiccup, he swiftly resumes his lap without any significant issues.

On the other hand, Lando Norris has had a challenging first half-hour of practice. While he has set a time on the board, he finds himself four-tenths behind his teammate and has completed the fewest laps, second only to Leclerc. Although his pace doesn't appear to be disastrous, there's a sense of anticipation as they're aiming for more but are yet to gauge his full potential.

Meanwhile, Once the Ferrari was retrieved, the session resumed. However, the Monegasque driver, Charles Leclerc, was unable to continue participating. Due to the Sprint format being employed this weekend, Leclerc will not have any additional practice time before returning to the track for qualifying ahead of the Sprint race later on Friday.
